Girls Basketball

Girls from ages 7-18 are able to participate.

Level - Age range. (Age is based on age as of 12/31)

Instructional - 7-8

Minors - 8-10

Intermediate - 11-12

Junior A & B - 13-14

Senior - 15-18

Basketball runs as a winter sport, starting in December and running through March. All levels except the Instructional, qualify for playoffs.

Where are practices and games typically held?

Games and Practices are held in gyms around the Chesterfield county area.

Practice begins in November. We typically look to give two nights per week. Practice times and location will be determined based on the gyms and times assigned by the league.

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Teams typically play a 10-12 game season with games on Friday, Saturday or Sundays. Games usually begin the first Saturday in January after Winter Break and runs through March

Uniforms are covered in the fees charged by Hening Athletics and is kept by the player at the end of the season. The team uniform consists of a reversible jersey and shorts combination.

Players are given the option to chose their jersey numbers so we ask that each player have three jersey number choices. We will do what we can to accommodate the choices
